Among the many Community Service Projects done by the Dept. of
North Carolina AMVETS putting Carillons at the four (4) VAMCs;
Asheville, Salisbury, Durham, and Fayetteville, has been the most
rewarding.  The next time you go to a VA Hospital and here the music
think of the AMVETS.
At the Post level projects such as Blood Drives, Boy Scouts, Little
League Baseball, Youth Football.  At the VA Hospitals; Bingo, Because
we Care Day, Valentines, Thanksgiving and Christmas programs for
the hospitalized veteran.
